Hello Everyone,
I have made some pretty drastic changes to the website and so I thought I'd roll out the new version a little slower than usual.
This "old" version of the site will remain the main site for a little while longer but if you wish to check out the new version of the website you can do so by going to http://home.triggerwalkers.com.

The main changes you will see are:
The layout is completely different,
The picture gallery is completely different,
You can make comments on just about anything on the site,
The Forum is completely different and much, MUCH simpler (one board instead of 20)
And, you will find a credits page.

I guess you could call this an "RC" (Release Candidate) version of the site as I think it's working smoothly but I could have missed something.
If you find anything weird or something that you miss from the old version that isn't on the new just post something on the forum or email me: johnlink@triggerwalkers.com.

For those of you that ordered pictures from me, the packets will be in the mail this week. The average amount of pictures per team was about 200 - 250 pictures. Some teams had more because they were in the finals and therefore played more games. I'll see about adding more of your pictures online after I send out the packets. So, even though your online gallery only has about 40 pictures, you actually have about 5 times that on the way in the mail.

We will be at Colors for the July 6th 5-man event. We are going to focus on taking pictures of the event instead of video. For only $35/team ($6 a person) we will make sure to take pictures of your team during every game you play and will send you 5 CDs of the High-Res (8+ Megapixel) pictures. We will also rotate around the field to make sure we get pictures of every player on your team from many angles. I have mailed out the GLS Event#1 DVDs and Picture CDs to the teams that paid for our service on May 4th, 2008. In case you're wondering, there are far more pictures on the picture CDs than there are online in your team's albums right now.

I also mailed a few DVDs to Randy at Colors in case anybody else wanted one. Those DVDs have footage of the games that were played by the teams that paid for our service. So, don't expect a lot of footage of your team on those DVDs if you didn't sign up. It does, however, also have the music video from footage of the whole day. But, you can see that here on our home page too. If you're on one of the teams that did get the DVDs, be sure to let me know what you did and didn't like about them on the forum so that we can continue making them better and better.

I made a music video with the footage from the Colors Paintball Tournament on May 4th.
The song I used is called "Valley" and it was written and performed by "The Mines."
I worked with them for a video project I had in college, they're pretty cool guys, check them out at www.TheMinesOnline.net.

Hello everyone,
I've implemented a new event calendar. You can access it by clicking the Event Calendar link on the left. The main advantage to this calendar, compared to the forum's calendar, is that you can add events too! Grant it, I will be approving every post before it's added to the global calendar, but that's just a formality to keep spam out of the system. I've already gone through and added a lot of stuff from the local fields but if I missed anything, feel free to add it your self.

The system is pretty straight forward. When viewing the calendar you can switch between years, months, weeks, and days. If you want to add an event, you can just click on the little (+) plus sign next to the date and fill out the event information. Select the category that the event belongs in, say whether or not it repeats, describe the event and then hit post. I'll be notified and I'll approve the events I think are relevant (please no private backyard events or repeating open plays for your field that happen every week, those will clog up the calendar).

What I'm hoping for is a one stop spot where you guys can come to see what's going on with events. So, if you've got some good ideas on how to make that happen shoot them my way.

I finally finished the DVDs from Color's 3-Man 04/13/08 tourney.
They're only $10/DVD with a $5 shipping fee per order(not per DVD).
I'll be bringing copies to the May 4th event at Colors if you'd like to buy one from me there to save on shipping.
I actually created a Title Menu on these DVDs and there's a Chapter Select Menu as well so you'll be able to select which game you want to see.
I did make the DVDs loop, so, if you own a shop or something, you can just turn them on in the morning and have them run the entire day.

If you bought the DVD, be sure to give us your comments so we can make our future DVDs even better.
We're already working on new features to add to future DVDs.
